Beginners' Classes
Our beginners' program provides an introduction to Artistic Swimming conducted in a fun, safe environment supervised by trained coaches. Lessons are designed to encourage children to enjoy water safely and learn skills to transition into the sport and provide adults with social, mental and physical wellbeing.
Lessons generally include:

Warm up laps in the pool

Progressive skills training through a 6-level program

Coaching in a choreographed group routine to music

'Land drilling' to learn routine choreography and timing
Pre-requisites:
Artistic Swimming classes are not a substitute for swimming lessons. Swimmers must be:

a minimum of 6 years of age,

confident in deep water,
-
able to swim a minimum of 25m unassisted and
-
proficient in breast stroke, i.e., Royal Life Saving Level 6 or equivalent
Fees - payable on enrolment:
Tuition fee $170 for a one hour class per child per term.
Fees above exclude card fees and do not include pool entry for swimmers or spectators payable direct to the pool.
Artistic Swimming Australia (ASA) Membership $65 per child per financial year - this covers insurance and music licensing.
Registration is a two part process. All swimmers must be members with Artistic Swimming Australia prior to registering in a class.
